In the 1940's and 50's; Art deco styled Gas Stations were becoming commonplace in communities across the nation. All the major oil companies went through a period of building in this style, each with their own minor modifications. Sidetrack Laser's Richfield Gas Station, while based on no particular prototype, is designed with many of those architectural features. A new material, Super-Harbord Plywood, was one of the exterior materials that was adapted to this design.
